Add your data

To appear in this directory, you need to create a Murmurations profile using the profile generator. It takes a few minutes.

How to create a profile

  1. Visit the Murmurations Profile Generator
  2. Check you are using the Production Index (top right)
  3. If you want to host your profile with Murmurations, Register first
  4. To create a personal profile, select people_schema-v1.0.0
  5. To create an organisation or project profile, select organizations_schema-v1.0.0
  6. Fill in the form fields with as much detail as you'd like shared
  7. Click Validate

Publishing your profile

After validation, you have two options:

Option 1: Host with Murmurations

Name your profile and click Save & Post. That's it — your profile will be indexed automatically.

Option 2: Host on your own site

  1. Copy the JSON code to a text file and save it as a .json file
  2. Upload it to your web server
  3. Paste the URL of your profile (e.g. https://yoursite.com/your-profile.json) into the Add/Update field of the Index Updater and click Post
